ECOLogic

General Characteristics:

ECOLogic is a powerful Data Collection Service (DCS) tool for railway energy management which enables the users to reduce their energy costs and manage energy data for billing according to the standard EN50463.

ECOLogic is built as SOA enterprise architecture, consisting of database, application server, and various client applications. It can operate on almost any operating system (Windows, Linux) and supports Microsoft SQL database.

As a web server application, ECOLogic allows customers to deliver information through their company’s intranet or securely via the Internet (https).

ECOLogic can be used as a service in the cloud (SaaS) or as an integrated system installed on customer’s premises.

Functions:

ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING

ECOLogic is able to acquire large numbers of data from the DHS installed on each fleet vehicle regarding energy and related measurements in intervals of up to one minute.

ENERGY DATA ANALYSIS

ECOLogic can perform different energy data analyses, such as load profile analysis of different energy consumption and peak consumption analysis. Built-in Monitoring and Targeting (M&T) analysis give a feedback of energy management projects and guidance on the level of energy use that should be expected in a certain situation.

CUSTOMIZED REPORTS AND DASHBOARDS

ECOLogic allows various members of staff to be involved in energy management – from top management to people at different levels throughout the organizational structure.

CUSTOMISED ALERTS

Any deviation from the limits of normal operation can be immediately detected.

CERTIFICATION TO MEET EN 50463 REQUIREMENTS

ECOLogic is certified by a notify body according to the standard EN50463.

CERTIFICATION FOR BILLING

ECOLogic is certified by the billing provider ERESS.

CONFIGURATION AND SECURITY MANAGEMENT

Through the ADMIN tool special users can access to the system and security configuration.

COMMISSIONING AND SERVICE DESK SUPPORT

ECOLogic is able without human support to manage the commissioning activities for the onboard installed DHS.

Microelettrica Scientifica provides a service desk to support the Customer remotely or locally. The best support is ensured by usage of ticketing, short respond time and periodic reporting.
