CONSTRUCTION

The LTNS contactors are guaranteed for a very high number of operations even in presence of shocks and vibrations. The design and construction are based on the experience gathered in over 30 years of production of bar type contactors. The "S" version is equipped with magnetic blow-out coils and arc-chutes. The blow-out coils, when not otherwise specified, are supplied for the nominal current of the contactors. Contacts of main poles are designed for easy cleaning and replacement with normal tools. The relative brushing of the contact's surfaces grants self cleaning and low resistance. The arc chutes are asbestos free and are manufactured with shock and electric arc resistant materials. Control circuit has been designed to operate with Direct Current coils with wide working filed. A "Varistor" cuts off the peak voltage when the coil is deenergized. When Alternate Current feeding is required, it is possible to fit a silicon rectifier.

EXECUTIONS
The LTNS contactors assembling system allows many variants such as:
  • Multipolar contactors
  • Contactors with normally closed poles
  • Contactors for A.C. or D.C. circuits operating with voltage over 750V
  • Contactors with both normally closed and normally open poles (change over and field discharge contactors)
  • Contactors without blow-out coils and arc chutes type "V" for no load breakings.
